We took a 6 km hike around Jordan Pond today, the heart of Acadia National Park.
We remembered to wear sneakers this year and chuckled at other “tourists” (not unlike ourselves last year) attempting to navigate the wooden planks, rocks and trails around the pond that overlooks The Bubbles.
Needless to say we were faster this year and our feet didn’t hurt quite so bad.
Total time about 1 1/2 hours.
Then it was into Jordan Pond House for their famous pop ups and lobster bisque. 
We’re now back at camp trolling for shells (ah yes, it never gets boring) and watching possibly the best sunset of the week.
